Elena Yakubina performed a dance number "DEVOCHKI" in a musical "Mother Russia", Carnegie Hall, NYC. The story was about an American guy visiting Russia, Barynya dancers were in the scene where his friends are afraid that he will be seduced by Russian girls and warning him to stay away from them.
Russian dance Ivan Kupala choreographed by Valentina Kvasova. The dance was inspired by celebration of Ivan Kupala Day in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Video was recorded during Russian dance and music ensemble Barynya MIDWEST TOUR 2008. Dancers: Valentina Kvasova, Anna Brovkina, Natia Rtveliashvili.

Cossack folk song and dance concert will take place in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 8pm.
Cossack folk singer Victoria Pichurova, Cossack singer and dancer Valentina Kvasova, Russian bayan virtuoso Viktor Danilochkin will perform traditional Cossack songs, harmonies and dances with accompaniment of Bayan (Russian button accordion).
Russian food and alcoholic beverages will be served.
$20 includes all you can eat and drink.

Cossack song, music and dance trio from New York founded by dancer and singer Valentina Kvasova, singer Victoria Pichurova and Russian button accordion virtuoso Victor Danilochkin in 2007. Ensemble performs Cossack folk music, songs and dances. All members of the group are highly trained in former USSR performers.
