Russian ballet and folk dancer, choreographer, Victoria Lazareva is originally from Moscow and currently living in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2016 she attended Moscow Provincial College of the Arts followed by Moscow State institute of Culture with a specialty as a teacher/choreographer. She was a soloist with the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” and a ballerina in the classical dance theater “Moscow Classical Ballet” that performed in the U.S., Canada, Italy, China, and Germany. Currently Victoria performing with Barynya, the oldest and biggest professional Russian dance company outside of Russia and Cossack Dancers.

On Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 11am to 10pm dancers, singers, and musicians of ensemble Barynya - dancer Viktoriia Lazareva, dancer Tara Kuhl, dancer/singer Valentina Kvasova, mandolin, domra and balalaika virtuoso Elina Karokhina, and Mikhail Smirnov (artistic director, garmoshka, guitar, vocals) performed five shows during an Annual St. George Russian Festival on the grounds of St. George Russian Orthodox Church in Loveland, Ohio. Exact address: St. George Russian Orthodox Church, 118 N Lebanon Rd, Loveland, OH 45140. Dancers performed Russian, Tatar, Gypsy, Ukrainian, Irish, Moldavian, and classical ballet in different sets of beautiful stage costumes.
Free public concert at the Wickenburg Community Center on November 7th, 2021
On Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at 2pm musicians and dancers of ensemble Barynya performed 90 min concert in Wickensburg, Arizona. Free public performance took place at the Wickenburg Community Center (exact address: 160 N. Valentine, Wickenburg, Arizona 85390). Dancers: Pavel Getman, Viktoriia Lazareva. Musicians: Elina Karokhina (balalaika), Mikhail Smirnov (garmoshka, guitar, vocals). The program of concert included Russian dances, music and songs.
November 5th, 2020. Virtual performances at the Evergreen Elementary School, San Jose, California
On Thursday, November 5th, 2020 dancers and musicians of Russian dance and music ensemble Barynya presented two virtual performances for the students of the Evergreen Elementary School, San Jose, California. Exact address of the school: 3010 Fowler Rd, San Jose, CA 95135. Forty five min program of each assembly included introduction to Russian language, culture, Russian, Cossack, Ukrainian, Jewish and Gypsy Roma traditional dancing, music, songs, and virtuoso performances on instruments including the balalaika, garmoshka (Russian folk button accordion) and balalaika contrabass. Первый публичный концерт ансамбля "Барыня" после начала эпидемии КОВИД-19 состоялся в субботу, 22-ого августа 2020 года в Антермаер парке города Янкерс (штат Нью-Йорк). Untermyer Park and Gardens (остатки поместья Сэмюэля Дж. Унтермайера "Грейстон") - исторический городской общественный парк площадью 43 акра, расположенный в Йонкерсе, штат Нью-Йорк, в округе Вестчестер, к северу от Манхаттена. На концерте было примерно пятьдесят человек зрителей (строго по пригласительным билетам). Вся публика была в масках. Люди сидели друг от друга на расстоянии в шесть футов (примерно два метра). Прямая трансляция выступления шла для остальных подписчиков этой концертной серии через Фейсбук и YouTube. Басист ансамбля Леонид Брук (Leonid Bruk) записал видео. Благодаря уважаемому Леониду Кимовичу Бруку концерт можно посмотреть полностью от начала до конца.
