On June 5th, 2016 "Celebrate Israel Parade" featured SpaceIL, Israel's entrant in the Google Lunar XPRIZE competition; a flyover of 15 airplanes by the US IL Flying Club; Grover from Shalom Sesame; and performances from Israeli recording artists Chen Aharoni, Hagit Yaso, "Mazal Tov Show" dancers, DJ Mr. Black; as well as 35,000 marchers, 31 floats and hundreds of thousands of spectators.
